The Apple iPad Pro is definitely one of the best devices from Apple. The tablet, as with all their products, feels solid in hand. If you have owned a previous generation iPad with similar size screen, you’ll note the difference in size and form factor instantly. The tablet is now smaller while retaining the same 9.7-inch display.
The display on the device is as good as any Apple device of this generation. It is a 9.7-inch retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The display is very responsive, viewing angles are good and color rendering is impressive. As for the audio, it’s better than the older generation of the iPad and general they are better than virtually any other 10-inch tablet.

7 – Lenovo Yoga Book (Windows) – 10″ HD
“Unique Tablet with Windows”
The Lenovo Yoga Book is a 10-inch tablet that stands up the name ‘Yoga’, which is usually Lenovo’s quality convertible laptop line. The design is unique and bends 360 degrees and it does look like a book by any angle. The tablet is available in both Windows 10 and Android versions. The Windows version is our favorite but is also more expensive than the Android version.
It comes with a vivid & colorful 10-inch HD IPS display and has a quality, solid construction. At less than 2 lbs, it’s among the thinnest Windows product you’ll find on the market today.
The Lenovo Yoga Book comes with a stylus pen that can act as a pen with real ink. The keyboard panel is very interesting since you can use it as a canvas to make art that will appear on the screen, just like you would with a Wacom device. As for the keyboard, it is a flat one, so don’t expect to type as fast as on a real one since you don’t have the tactile response of physical keys. But still, the typing experience is enjoyable for a 10-inch tablet.
The device is powered by an Intel Atom processor coupled with a 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of SSD storage. It’s sufficient to handle all the little task without any fuss, but don’t expect that much power when you run Windows. But it boots fast and shutdowns in no time.

8 – Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus – 10″ HD
“Great Entertainment Tablet”
The Lenovo Tab 3 Plus is a uniquely designed tablet with its kickstand to hold it straight on a table – or even to hang it – so it’s perfect to watch movies. While the design is great, it makes it also bulkier and heavier than most.
But you might forgive that the first time you use it. The ultra-HD screen is impressive and the sound is loud, crisp and clear. It’s a serious movie-watching machine. And you’ll appreciate that it has one of the best battery life on the market.
It’s also equipped with good quality cameras at 5 MP for the front one and 13 MP for the back. Although I would not carry this tablet around to take my vacations pictures, it’s still one of the best on the market on that side.

“Good Multimedia 10-inch Tablet”
The Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 is a 10-inch tablet as the name suggest and comes with a full HD display. The screen is pretty good for the price range and I must say that the audio is quite impressive. That makes it a great multimedia tablet.
It’s equipped with a mid-range processor, a Qualcomm chip coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. 3 GB of RAM is more than most of the other best 10-inch tablets, but 16 GB storage is one of the areas where Huawei could have done better. The tablet works without any problem for casual surfing and streaming. The gaming, on the other hand, needs to be carefully handled. Casual and light games will play fine. However, resource hungry games won’t always run smoothly.
Buy Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 if you are looking for a low-cost iPad alternative that has a good slim design, great audio, decent performance, good display and long battery life. Keep in mind that it as little storage space and is slightly underpowered and you’ll enjoy your purchase.

10 – Asus Transformer Mini T102HA – 10″
“Half tablet / Half Laptop”
The Asus Transformer Mini is a 2-in-1 10-inch tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard. It sports a 10-inch HD touchscreen display that is quite responsive. It comes with a detachable keyboard that allows you to use the tablet as a work laptop. It has a great design and the tablet looks premium since it is made of aluminum.
The tablet runs on Windows 10 Home and comes with a Stylus Pen. It’s equipped with an Intel Atom processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Nothing too powerful, but enough to run Windows without too much lag.
The highlights of the tablet are its build quality and battery life. You’ll easily get 8 hours, which is enough for a day’s work. On the minus side, the keyboard is smallish so the typing experience isn’t that good, but still better than any virtual keyboard you’ll find on other tablets. And, as I said before, the performance is on the low side due to an Atom processor running Windows.
Buy the Asus Transformer Mini if you do casual work including browsing and streaming and also want a keyboard for occasional work while traveling.

The 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display panel is pretty good for the price. It has a nice touch response and the viewing angles are pretty decent.
The tablet is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. Despite having a MediaTek processor, the tablet handles tasks without any lag. You can watch movies, surf the internet and stream content and the tablet doesn’t feel slow.
The sound quality of the tablet is good but not great, so is the battery life. You can get around 7 hours of battery with moderate usage. There is a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera setup. The camera is of average quality and you won’t be impressed compared with a smartphone with a similar setup.

The battery life of the Microsoft Surface 3 is average compared to other 10-inch tablets and a casual user will get about 7 or 8 hours of use. The device comes with a full USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports to connect external peripherals to your device, something that other tablets don’t have.

“Affordable Mid-range 10-inch”
The LG Gpad X II 10 has a 10.1 HD display. The screen doesn’t have any wow factor to it, but for the price the quality is adequate. The casing of the tablet is all plastic but it does feel rigid.
It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The performance of the tablet is similar to any mid-range tablet in this segment. You can browse the internet, stream videos and do some editing without any issues. For storage needs, it comes with a 32 GB of internal storage and is expandable using the Micro SD card slot.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The tablet weighs around 1.12 lbs. which pretty average for that market. The tablet also supports LTE for faster connectivity. 15 – Asus VivoTab RT 10 – 10″
“Good for School and Work”
The Asus VivoTab RT, as the name suggests, runs on the Windows RT version. Windows RT was developed for tablets and has limited features compared to the full version of Windows. In this ecosystem, you cannot install any third-party software. Only the apps that are available in the Windows Store can be installed. So, the tablet won’t serve your purpose if you need to install a specific app not available in the Windows Store. However, if you want to watch Netflix or browse the web, that is something you will enjoy on this tablet.
The Asus VivoTab RT features a 10.1″ IPS display. The viewing angles are decent and the touch response good. The display however, is moderately bright making it difficult to use under direct sunlight.
The tablet is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. There is 64 GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage with a micro SD card slot. The performance on the tablet is good thanks to the processor and the tablet can handle most tasks without any problem.
The battery lasts quite long and you can get up to 8 hours of usage when used lightly. Also, the speaker isn’t too loud nor too weak, just average. It gets the job done. There’s also has a 2 MP front and 2 MP rear camera. The picture quality is nothing to brag about and you should not use it for your next vacations pictures.
The Asus VivoTab RT is not for everyone. Buy this if you are okay with what RT can and cannot do. It has a good display, good build but it’s not cheap.

16 – Asus Transformer Pad Infinity – 10″ HD
“Solid Build & Performance”
The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is a 10.1-inch tablet that has Full HD display resolution. It is powered by a TEGRA 3 Quad-core processor, has 1 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Even with little RAM, the performance of the tablet is quite exceptional. The tablet can handle games, browsing and streaming and multiple instances of apps without any problem.
The tablet looks durable and the back of the tablet is made of metal. The display is quite good, but the audio is only average. The real downside of this tablet is its OS. It runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and upgrading it to the Jelly Bean makes it buggy.
Buy the Asus Transform Pad Infinity if you want a high-performance tablet that can handle gaming like a beast and can compromise with it being stuck in Android Jelly Beans.
